As Covid starts to spike again, could that affect Arizona Football?

Things are heating up in the Desert, and I don’t mean the temperatures, no in fact Covid is starting to spike in Tucson and that could hurt Arizona Football.

Just as we thought we were starting return to a sense of normalcy with Arizona Football returning to action, perhaps we could be on the edge of something awful brewing with Covid-19 starting to spike again.

As I’m sure you’ve seen in recent days, it’s that as Arizona and other states started to reopen, naturally spikes in Covid cases have began increasing again, which is not a good thing to say the least.

At this point, if you’re like me, you’re just looking for this to all go away, so we can return to a more normal life. But with recent news of the cases of Covid increasing, that could certainly prolong things.

As I’m sure you all are aware, the season is just over two months away, and that got me thinking, if the cases continue to increase, we could be in serious trouble. Especially as it seems like there is no end in sight.

Did Arizona Football return to action too soon? Or do we just somehow fight through this and hope everything works out okay in the next two months?

Look, I’m not advocating for everything to go about as if nothing is happening, we need to address the glaringly obvious which is not only the safety and well-being of our players. However, even our fans, assuming there would be any allowed in the stadium this coming season need to be protected as well.

I am fully aware of the financial hardships the Athletic Department is seeing, and the opportunist in me sees the need for a football season. Nonetheless, I will say seeing the spikes happening again could change the trajectory of Arizona Football, after seeing “successes” in recent weeks.

Anyways, these are just my thoughts? Do you think the Arizona Football season could be in danger? Let us know and as always, Bear Down!
