What’s better than having one talented Nnaji family member play the for Arizona Basketball programs? How about multiple Nnaji family members?

If you have been paying attention to recent offers made by the Arizona Basketball team, you would have seen that the Wildcats have now also offered 2022 forward, Elvis Nnaji!

That name sounds familiar, right? Good, because it should. For those that don’t know, Elvis is the younger cousin to soon-to-be drafted Wildcat star, Zeke Nnaji.

Also hailing from Minnesota and prepping at Hopkins High School in Minnetonka, MN as well, Elvis is a 2022 recruit that is steadily climbing the ranks as a prospect and for good reason.

At 6-feet-9-inches, Elvis is a long, athletic forward who is already drawing interest from; Marquette, Minnesota and as of Wednesday, Arizona as well.

It’s really no longer news at this point, but nonetheless, the offer quickly made the rounds via social media, and we are surely excited about the Wildcats becoming aggressive with Elvis.

Even though 2022 is a long ways away at this point it’s good to get an early start. And let’s also be clear that just because Arizona offered Elvis, that doesn’t guarantee that he even comes here just because he’s related to Zeke.

Nonetheless with the recent offer, it did get us thinking, perhaps even dreaming of not having just two Nnaji’s playing in Tucson, but in fact three!

Three? Yes! As you may recall, Arizona did offer Maya Nnaji (sister of Zeke) awhile back, and as her recruitment has really taken off over the past few months, she could be a foundational piece for the Arizona Women’s Basketball program if she were to come as well.

The Nnaji’s have one hell of a talented family, and potentially having them all come to Arizona would be amazing to see!

Anyways, at Zona Zealots, we’re excited to see how both recruitments play out, and are certainly hopeful the Wildcats can get lucky here! As always, Bear Down, Arizona!
