These are exciting times as an Arizona Football fan, especially as the Wildcats have picked up yet another commitment, this time in Louisiana running back, Montrell Johnson.

Considered the No. 1,094 player overall in the class, he is the No. 74 running back in the class and is the No. 33 overall player in the talent-rich stat of Louisiana!

Holding offers from Duke, Colorado, Kansas, Tennessee and Virginia among others, Arizona did just enough to convince the young Johnson to come to Tucson!

Standing a sturdy, 5-feet-10-inches and weighing 184-pounds, Johnson is another talented running back that will continue to help bolster a deep and talented Arizona backfield.

He is a standout a De La Salle High School in New Orleans, LA and this past season as a junior, he surely made his presence felt as he helped lead his high to a 8-5 record.

On film, he looks fantastic. He is quick and elusive and is great at staying patient in order to find the hole and explode.

He looks very smooth when running and when he gets to that second level, look out, because he’s going to be hard to bring down.

Sometimes lining up in the Wildcat, Montrell is just as good at getting to the outside as he is in making guys miss inside the box and finding seams to run through.

He is a very dynamic player and you can see the talent in how he plays. It’s no wonder so many power five schools were looking at him!

Just see for yourself!
