As Covid still wreaks havoc globally, it’s becoming clear that drastic changes are going to be needed, and as a result the Pac-12 is expected to cancel their non-conference football games.

We’re getting closer and closer until the potential start of an Arizona Football season, and with recent events, it is becoming more and more evident that we may be in for a bit of an unorthodox year.

Already this year has been nothing short of a cluster. From killer hornets, Kobe’s death, UFO’s, Covid, etc. and now potentially a delayed/ no football season at all in 2020, it’s been one hell of a year.

As you have likely already seen, it’s that the Big 10 has announced that they are cancelling all non-conference games for the upcoming season. Ultimately buying themselves time to hopefully come up with a solution to combat the ongoing Covid situation.

So with the Big 10 already making major changes to the upcoming season, I would imagine the Pac-12 isn’t far behind.

Already, there have been plenty of individuals like myself and others that have been pontificating as to whether their will even be a football season in 2020. Just the other day we were discussing why we think the ultimately we will see the season postponed altogether.

As we progress each day with the number of positive Covid cases increasing, it seems like this ultimately be inevitable, but for now I do think we can anticipate in seeing the Wildcats and more specifically the Pac-12 follow the Big 10s lead in cancelling their non-conference slate of games.
