Arizona Football adds Texas linebacker KC Ossai for 2021

What could be better than one commitment this weekend? How about two commitments as Arizona Football also added Texas linebacker KC Ossai.

Early on in this recruiting cycle, it was evident Arizona Football was not only going to need to address the offensive line and defensive line, but in particular the linebacker position as well. And once again, they are proving that this is true, especially as the Wildcats have now added Texas linebacker, KC Ossai for 2021.

Making his announcement via social media on Sunday afternoon, KC decided to shut his recruitment down, picking Arizona over offers from; Army, Air Force, Dartmouth and Nevada among others.

Becoming the 21st commitment in the class, and the sixth linebacker so far (including Cole Batson), it’s great to get another linebacker for 2021, and also to continue to build depth.

As stated previously, it was was no secret that Arizona desperately needed linebackers for next year and beyond, especially as Tony Fields II is transferring, and Colin Schooler and Anthony Pandy are graduating after this season.

For KC, I do like this addition a lot! For one, at 6-feet-1-inch and 222 pounds, he has good size and athleticism, and despite him not having any power five offers, I do like the fact he has offers from multiple Service Academies, as well as an Ivy League school.

He is a standout at Oak Ridge High School in Conroe, TX, and on film, he is a smart, confident and aggressive football player!

Lining up mostly as an outside linebacker, he is quick and has a great feel for the game from what you can see on film, and that’s something the Wildcats could surely use.

He is a type of player that doesn’t shy in pining his ears back and rushing the passer and creating havoc in the backfield.

He shows great eye discipline and patience, and takes great angles in putting himself into a position to make a play!

Just see for yourself!

At Zona Zealots, we are glad to see KC join the team and can’t wait to see what he can do in Tucson! As always, Bear Down, Arizona!
