In a busy weekend of action, the Arizona Football team received another commitment for 2021 with the addition of Junior College OT, Cade Parrish.

Another day, another commitment for the Arizona Football team as the Wildcats picked up a commitment from Junior College Offensive Tackle, Cade Parrish on Saturday evening, as he becomes the 20th commitment for the class of 2021.

Making his decision known via social media, Cade picked the Wildcats over offers from Hawaii, San Jose State and Liberty among others.

Now granted, I know many reading this are probably rolling their eyes as Cade doesn’t have any power five offers, but make no mistake, picking up a junior college offensive lineman is a big deal.

In this case, this is a commitment I particularly like as Cade hails from the talented Snow College in Ephraim, UT. This is a solid pick-up for the Cats.

As it stands, the Wildcats need more, immediate depth along the offensive line. Coming in, I felt Arizona needed to address not only the defensive line, but the offensive line as well.

Adding Cade was/ is important, and I feel he will help address that as soon as he steps foot on campus. He already has ideal size, and being an experienced player at 6-feet-5-inches and 295 pounds, he could feasibly come in and contribute right away.

On film there is plenty to like as well!

Mostly lining up at right tackle, he has a great first step, whether is in the run block or in pass protection. I think he tends to excel more in the running game, rather than in the passing game, but he is quite talented in both areas.

He shows great discipline and foot work, he also does a great job at keeping his hands inside the shoulders and driving. He’s strong, big and quite nimble for his size!

I think he could use a bit more aggressiveness in finishing his blocks, but overall, he has good, raw skills he can continue to build on!

At Zona Zealots, we are excited with the addition of Cade and can’t wait to see what he can do in Tucson! As always, Bear Down, Arizona!
