With the Arizona Football season still over a month away, no, I do not believe that the Wildcats will go winless in 2020.

Among the ridiculous things you’re seeing happen in 2020 so far, college football editor-in-chief Stewart Mandel of The Athletic predicts Arizona Football will go winless, yes winless.

Now look, I understand not many are thinking the Wildcats are going to be very good this year anyways, but to think that Arizona is going to be so bad that they are going to be winless seems like one hell of a take.

Seriously! Do you think Arizona is so bad, that we are worse than the 2003 Wildcats? Granted I know we are playing a conference only schedule this year, and are not playing a team like UTEP to help pad the win column, but winless?

I get that Arizona Football is trending downwards, and even with the Wildcats having high hopes in sophomore-to-be quarterback Grant Gunnell, zero wins seems a bit absurd.

Call me a homer or naive if you will, but as I recall, Colorado is breaking in a brand new quarterback, and the one-time UCLA coach Karl Dorrell is entering his first year in Boulder. The Buffaloes come to Tucson, and you think Arizona can’t beat them?

What about UCLA? It’s not like they have been lights out under Chip Kelly, also Stanford and Oregon State I think are beatable, and then you have a rivalry game versus ASU, where literally anything can happen in that game.

Even though the Wildcats are not a particularly great team, I do find the national disrespect rather insulting, and I can only hope the team does as well! Hopefully, they can use this as motivation moving forward!
