Amid the chaos, how about a bit of good news for Arizona Football as the Wildcats pick up a commitment from 2022 receiver, Kyion Grayes II.

It’s never a bad thing to look at making preparations towards the future, and with the 2020 Arizona Football season pushed out until the Spring for now, the Wildcats are building towards the future. Especially as they add 2022 receiver, Kyion Grayes II.

A standout at the talented Chandler High School from just up the road, Grayes took to social media on Tuesday evening, making his commitment known, especially as he picked the Wildcats over offers from Michigan State, Oregon State, Arizona State and Miami among others.

Granted the commitment is so far out, it doesn’t hurt in building towards the future!

As it stands, the Wildcats have 21 commitments for 2021, and with the class seemingly getting pretty close to full at this point, why not build for 2022.

And with news of the Pac-12 postponing fall sports for 2020, it seems like perhaps making preparations for the fall 2021 season are in order.

Look, I have my doubts that we even have a Spring season, as it’s just too close to the start of the fall 2021 season, so why not try and get the program ready for the future.

And a player like Grayes for instance is a great building block for the future.

Standing a sturdy 6-feet-1-inch and 170 pounds, he has good size for a receiver at the Pac-12 level, and he already is a standout as we said at the perennially talented Chandler High School.

A two sport start in Chandler, he is a big, fast, strong kid with plenty of athleticism.

On film, Kyion plays fearless and plays with a lot of confidence. He’s the type of player that doesn’t shy from contact and he doesn’t shy from playing the middle of the field. He uses his length to get to the football and allow himself to make plays.

He plays fast, he’s hard to bring down and will be one of the best players in Arizona by the time he’s a senior. Just watch for yourself!

At Zona Zealots, we’re excited for Kyion and hope he can end up on campus. I’m sure his recruitment will continue to take off! As always, Bear Down, Arizona!
