As Arizona Basketball focuses on 2021 recruiting and beyond, could four-star forward Ben Gregg be the first domino to fall for the Wildcats?

Just as the 2020-21 Arizona Basketball season will look a little different this year, why not look towards the future? Well, with Sean Miller and the Cats preparing and recruiting for 2021 and beyond, could four-star forward Ben Gregg be the first domino to fall for the Wildcats? We could certainly hope anyways…

For those who haven’t been following, Ben is a highly-touted forward in the class of 2021 and standout at Clackamas High School in Clackamas, OR. Rated as a four-star recruit, Ben is the No. 59 overall player in the class, and is the No. 14 overall power forward. I think it’s safe to say that this is a kid with a very bright future.

Already holding offers from Arizona, Oregon, Texas, Texas Tech, USC, and Cal among others, the Top 60 player took to social media today, announcing that he will be committing on September 9. His mother’s birthday!

I don’t know about you, but this would be a huge commitment for the Wildcats, and perhaps could jumpstart the 2021 recruiting class for Arizona.

Standing an impressive 6-feet-8-inches and 210 pounds, Ben is a stretch four forward that has the size and athleticism to play either inside or outside, and he is an incredibly versatile and athletic player that could help the Wildcats as well.

He is a tremendously talented scorer, being able to score at all three levels. Ben is a kid that can beat you off the dribble and get to the bucket, he can pull up from mid-range, or spot-up from three, and beyond that, he is a terrific rebounder as well!

He’s got length, he’s got athleticism, he’s got everything you could want in a basketball player. Heck, just look at some of his film from last year.
