With the arrival of Lithuanian twins Azoulas Tubelis and Tautvilas Tubelis, the Arizona Basketball team now has all their European commits on campus.

Things are finally moving in the right direction for the Arizona Basketball team. With Covid already having its impact on the season, as well as the preparation for the 2020-21 season, Wildcat fans have some good things to look forward to.

If you have been paying attention to Arizona Basketball news recently, it is that the Wildcats have been having all their incoming commits in the 2020 recruiting class come to campus.

Kerr Kriisa, Dalen Terry, Ben Mathurin, Daniel Batcho and Tibet Goerner all arrived to campus.

Now all we were waiting for was the coveted Lithuanian twins Azoulas Tubelis and Tautvilas Tubelis to arrive to Tucson. Luckily for us, Azoulas and Tautvilas are here!

Arriving in Tucson over the weekend, their arrival makes it official for the Cats! All the European commits from 2021 are now on campus!

Worried? Not me (at least not totally). And given the current state of things, with Covid still rampant and travel being heavily impacted, I can’t say it wasn’t completely out of the realm of possibility that there was some concern here.

Now, while the season is still not projected to start until January of 2021 for the Pac-12, the first big obstacle for Arizona Basketball was getting everyone on campus. So now with that done, we can now breathe a bit easier, right?

Well, hopefully. Now all we can do is wait an hope that the Wildcats do have a season this year, and that everyone is ready to go by then.

We already highlighted that this postponement could be a blessing in disguise, especially since head coach Sean Miller is replacing his entire starting line-up and will break in as many as seven new freshmen, as well as two incoming transfers.

Having that extra time would be beneficial to get them ready, and with them now all on campus, it makes it all the easier.

light. More. On Arizona Basketball

At Zona Zealots, we are excited to finally see our freshmen on campus and can’t wait to see what they can do this year! As always, Bear Down, Arizona!
