No. 4 – CB Donovan Olumba

Position: Cornerback
Class: 2013
High School: Salpointe Catholic (Tucson, AZ)
College: Alderson-Broaddus University/ Portland State

A standout at Salpointe Catholic High School, just about 10 minutes from the University of Arizona campus, it is hard to completely blame the Wildcats on this one, considering, Donovan Olumba didn’t have very many offers coming out of school.

Largely overshadowed by players like Cam Denson, Justin Holt, etc. at the time, Donovan went on to Alderson-Broaddus, a small Division II in West Virginia, before transferring and walking-on at Portland State, eventually becoming a solid collegiate player.

Appearing in just 11 games with the Vikings, Olumba totaled 21 tackles (15 solo), 2.0 Tackles for Loss and seven pass break-ups in his lone season in Portland.

Since then, Donovan has bounced around in the NFL a bit appearing with a few different teams, and given his success, it makes sense why this can be seen as a miss for Arizona Football.
