Arizona Basketball offers 2022 Texas-based guard, Noah Shelby
Beginning to make traction in the recruiting class of 2022, the Arizona Basketball team has officially offered Texas-based guard, Noah Shelby!
Staying on top of recruiting is a constant task, especially if you are Sean Miller and Arizona Basketball. Now while the 2021 recruiting class is still under way, part of their focus also shifts to 2022, with Texas-based guard Noah Shelby being a key target.
In case you missed it, Miller and Arizona made news yesterday, as they offered Noah a scholarship, and it is about time too.
Arizona Wildcats
Coming in at 6-feet-3-inches and 175 pounds, Noah is a fantastic combo guard that is quickly rising in the class of 2022.
Currently he is ranked as the No. 67 overall player in the class according to 247Sports, and he is the No. 7 overall combo guard, as well as the No. 8 overall player from the great state of Texas. And given his current recruiting trends, I would expect him to rise in the class as well!
Just days ago, Noah received an offer from Kansas, and that’s already on top of the bevy of offers he holds from other schools. Schools like; Baylor, Memphis, Minnesota, Auburn, Texas and ASU among others.
Arizona smartly offered Noah, as he is a talented guard from the Dallas area that can certainly fill up a stat sheet. And when you watch him play, it is clear why the Wildcats offered.
First off, Noah has decent size for a guard, and is more of a score-first guard with great shooting touch that extends well beyond the three-point line.
He is explosive and versatile player, that can play either on the ball or off the ball. He is also quick enough to move around the floor and find open spots on the court.
Shelby also possess nice touch around the rim, and can draw in defenders with his shooting ability, allowing him to dish off the ball and make the appropriate pass when needed.
Just watch for yourself!
At Zona Zealots, we’re excited about this offer and look forward to following this recruitment. As always, Bear Down, Arizona!
