Already turning his focus to the off-season, Former Wildcat Aaron Gordon is staying busy, especially as he releases a hip-hop single.

What doesn’t Former Wildcat Aaron Gordon do? Well, we all know that he is incredibly talented, but for those that haven’t paid much attention to Aaron in his post-Arizona career other than basketball, he has certainly been staying busy.

We’ve already seen him light up the ‘Silver Screen’, appearing in the movie Uncle Drew just a couple years ago, but apparently that’s not all!

Now just weeks after the Orlando Magic were eliminated from the NBA Playoffs, Aaron is already onto his next venture, which happens to be taking on his musical aspirations.

Making news via social media on Friday, it was that Gordon teamed up with Epic Records hip-hop artist, Moe, where he released a new song entitled “LVL UP”.

The song’s message portrays a rather positive one, hence the title “LVL UP”. It’s a great message for those that are facing struggles, and are seeking an opportunity to meet adversity head on and improve their situation, much like Gordon did himself.

A young guy that has seen some adversity, but has continued to work hard to improve his situation in life and in particular the NBA, it seems like a good thing to cheer for.

The song is just his second single and will appear on his full-length called “All Good”. However, the album does not have a release date just yet.

I know some may not be a big fan of the song, and if I’m being honest, it isn’t my favorite either, however, it’s great to see Aaron use his free-time for good, and we should encourage his aspirations!

For those wanting to hear the song, here it is!

At Zona Zealots, we’re happy for Aaron and can’t wait to see what’s next for him! As always, Bear Down, Arizona!
