We are now in Week 2 of the NFL being in action, and still with no Arizona Football, here is how our former Wildcats performed!

It was a rather eventful and interesting Week One in the NFL, especially as everyone adjusts to football amid the Global Pandemic. However, the show goes on as we now move into Week Two, with much more anticipation, especially for our Former Wildcats.

Even though we don’t have a ton of players in the league, we did see some success from a few of our Wildcats in Week One. And as the weekend has now passed again, here is how a few of our Cats did this week!

Nick Foles (CHI) – Nick still has not appeared for the Bears, as Nick is a back-up to quarterback Mitch Trubisky. Despite putting up pedestrian numbers, the Bears went on to beat the New York Giants 17-13 in Chicago.

J.J. Taylor (NE) – Being one of the more pleasant surprises of our Former Wildcats last week, Taylor returned in Week Two with more to prove. However, it was a performance to forget for the Patriots’ running back, as he turned in a one carry for -1 yard performance. He did have 69 yards on three kick-off returns. New England did end up losing 35-30 to the Seattle Seahawks.

Nick Folk (NE) – The 13-year NFL veteran had an okay day, as he once again went a perfect 3/3 on Extra Points. He did however go 1-2 on field goal attempts, hitting from 25-yards, but missing from 54 in the Patriots’ 35-30 loss to the Seahawks.

Will Parks (PHI) – Philly Will is still out for the Eagles’ as the former Wildcat and veteran safety is still recovering from an injured hamstring. He will still be out another 3-5 weeks minimum.

Rob Gronkowski (TB) – Returning after a rather forgettable performance in a Week One loss to the New Orleans Saints, the Buccaneers came away with the 31-17 win over Carolina Panthers, however, the Gronk had zero receptions on just one target in this one.

Dane Cruikshank (TEN) – Still not playing yet, the Titans’ safety is still recovering while on the Injured Reserved list, and will be there at least until Week 4. However without him, the Tennessee Titans did come away with the 33-30 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars.
