ATLANTA, GA – Adding to his legendary status, former Wildcat Nick Foles once again plays the savior in a come from behind win for Chicago.

Who doesn’t love seeing former Wildcat Nick Foles succeed time and time again? Especially after many seem to overlook his ability.

Ever since coming to Arizona, Nick has always been doubted. Coming in, he wasn’t even a starter for the Wildcats, and had to fight for an opportunity to even play, eventually replacing then starter, Matt Scott.

He fought to be a relevant player in the Pac-10, and in his senior season in Tucson, he had to fight, especially on a team that limped to a 4-8 finish.

Well, ever since coming to the NFL, it has mostly been the same thing. He got drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles in the 3rd round, being passed over with 87 picks ahead of him, and more importantly, five quarterbacks were selected ahead of him.

Now I am not saying that Nick should have been drafted over Russell Wilson or Andrew Luck for that matter, but it seems like he was underrated by scouts, was he not?

Well fast forward a few years and my what a career he has had. Mostly used in back-up capacities, he has proven his worth time and time again, especially as it seems like he has continued to play savior.

Nick came in as a back-up to replace the injured Carson Wentz in 2017 and 2018, guiding the Eagles to back-to-back playoff appearances, and most notably a Super Bowl win in 2017.

Well on Sunday, Nick was in retro form as he came in to replace struggling Chicago QB Mitch Trubisky.

With the Bears losing 26-10, slowly but surely, Nick went to work, finishing his day 16/29 passing with 188 yards and three touchdowns to just one interception. More importantly, Foles helped guide the Bears to the 30-26 come from behind win.

With the comeback victory, Foles once again showcases his worth and adds to his legendary status.
