Arizona Basketball offers four-star guard Shane Dezonie for 2021
With Sean Miller and the Arizona Basketball team making progress in the recruiting for 2021, the Wildcats have offered four-star guard Shane Dezonie.
It is still a month until the start of the 2020-21 Arizona Basketball season, but already the Wildcats are making progress in the 2021 recruiting class.
So far, the Wildcats have K.J. Simpson committed, but now they are looking to see who else they can add to the class. Seemingly one of their next targets is shooting guard, Shane Dezonie.
Arizona Wildcats
Standing an impressive 6-feet-4-inches and 190 pounds, the four-star guard who hails from Brewster Academy (Wolfeboro, NH), received an offer from Arizona yesterday, and we sure like this offer.
Other than his name being perfect for Arizona, he comes in as the No. 86 overall player in the class and the No. 20 overall guard for his position according to 247Sports.
He hails from the talented Brewster Academy, which also featured former Wildcats Mark Lyons and Justin Simon, and already Shane holds offers from Arkansas, Arizona State, Cincinnati, Clemson, Ole Miss and Missouri among others.
Shane is a recruit that is quickly climbing the recruiting ranks, and with an offer from Arizona, they are clearly his biggest offer thus far, and it is clear Miller and the Wildcats really like his game, and is perhaps a sign that Shane Nowell is still undecided.
From his film, the thing that stands out the most is his defense. Dezonie is a strong defender, being talented and athletic enough to guard positions 1-4. Plus, he is good at finishing at all three levels.
As a ball handler, Shane runs the floor well and is able to distribute the basketball well, making the right or appropriate pass, and while he’s not a true point guard, he surely is adequate.
Overall, Dezonie is a great athlete with good strength and athleticism, and would be great addition for the Cats. Just see for your self!
At Zona Zealots, we’re excited about this offer and can’t wait to see what the Wildcats can do! As always, Bear Down, Arizona!
