Arizona Basketball to likely use attorneys, not Court of Public Opinion

With the Arizona Basketball team having received their Notice of Allegations from the NCAA, the Wildcats use attorneys and not the Court of Public Opinion.

It has been a busy couple of days for the Arizona Basketball team, especially if you have been following recent news regarding the program.

And as you may have seen, it was just days ago that we found out that the Cats indeed received their Notice of Allegations from the NCAA, as it was confirmed by the school. However, what is not known at this time is what is actually in the NOA.

So naturally with the UA posturing to keep quiet about the whole matter, fans and analysts virtually everywhere have theorized everything on why that is over the past 48-72 hours.

Is the school trying to keep quiet because of how severe the allegations are? Or are they trying to stay quiet in order to ensure they get their “ducks” in a row to combat what is in the findings? Who knows, however, for now we will just have to remain patient until those come to light.

I know that isn’t ideal for anyone following the program, especially since it has been three years since the news first broke, and I think at this point we are all just looking for some closure.

As for the University of Arizona, the Wildcats will lean on their attorney’s and using legal counsel, and given the level of legality and profile of this all, that makes the most sense.

Everyone has their opinion on what’s going on and how the UofA should respond, but in all honesty, let’s face it, Arizona should be leaning on their legal team and legal counsel, rather than using the court of public opinion.

The fact of the matter is, we want answers, but for now we’re just going to have to wait and hope Arizona has a fighting chance, no matter what is in the NOA.
