Arizona Football finally has a day game as they soon face Utah
With the Arizona Football team soon kicking off their season against the Utah Utes, the Wildcats will finally have a day game to start the year.
The 2020 Arizona Football season is nearly here, and already it seems we may finally have some good news as the Wildcats will have a day game to start the season.
Making news on Monday afternoon was the fact that the Wildcats finally had their kick-off time announced against the Utah Utes, when they begin their season on November 7. f
Arizona Wildcats
Beginning their season a week from this Saturday, Arizona will face-off against Utah at 1PM PST, or 2PM Arizona time on ESPNU.
Granted it will be an away game, however, this can at least be seen as somewhat of a positive considering the Wildcats seemingly don’t get many day games, and Arizona only had three games that were considered day games last year.
Also, with the game being on ESPNU, it means potentially more exposure for the program. And whether you see that as a positive or not, I assure you getting Arizona on television at a reasonable time is good for the program, win or lose.
It is also a huge step forward considering the Pac-12 Network does a poor job at getting their member schools more exposure and viewership across the country.
As it stands, the Wildcats will have their hands full in this one, especially as they enter this game as a current, 14.5-point underdog against a talented Utes squad.
Perhaps luckily for the Wildcats, the Utes will need to replace a lot of talent on offense, as well as on defense, so perhaps they could surprise Utah in this one, however, the challenge ahead will be daunting.
At Zona Zealots, we are excited to see Arizona Football action to soon be returning and are curious to see how the Wildcats will look this season! As always, Bear Down, Arizona!
