As the Arizona Basketball team prepares for the upcoming season, it appears incoming transfer Jordan Brown is already impressing early on.

We’re just under a month until the start of the 2020-21 Basketball season, which means we are closer to seeing Arizona Basketball take to the court as well. That also means we are finally going to see the long-awaited debut of incoming transfer, Jordan Brown.

As you may recall, Jordan was the highly recruited five-star forward that hailed from Prolific Prep in Napa, CA that initially committed to Nevada over Arizona back in 2018.

It is funny how fate turns out sometimes, as Brown ended up at Arizona. Transferring from Nevada after his freshman season, Jordan sat out all of last year so he can be eligible for 2020 and beyond.

Well, finally the wait will soon be over as the dynamic forward will be ready to take to the floor, likely providing an immediate impact.

With the Wildcats having to replace all five starters from last year, they are going to need to find guys to help supplement the high-level production they are losing. That means Jordan is going to have to step-up in a big way.

Luckily for us, it already seems as if he may be up to the task. And in case you may have missed it, the former five-star recruit is living up to the hype as he is drawing a lot of early praise thus far.

With the Wildcats gearing up for the upcoming season, the team is practicing which means the infamous ‘Gold Jersey’ returns and is being given out.

Typically awarded to the player that has the biggest impact in practice, or has the best week, it is certainly a distinction you want to get as a basketball player. And getting it is no easy task.

Well, for the second-straight week, it appears Jordan has earned the Gold Jersey yet again, as the ‘APlayersProgram’ Twitter account had informed us.

For any fans looking for any positives surrounding the program, this is it!

Arizona needs Jordan to have a big year, and with the Wildcats likely depending on him heavily, seeing him have a big impact in practice in back-to-back is surely a great sign of things to come.

With most “experts” having missed expectations surrounding the team, I feel the Wildcats could very well surprise some people, and at the forefront of that could be Jordan.

He is a talented and dynamic forward/ big-man with a solid inside/outside game. Jordan is a big kid that is getting bigger, he provides incredible length and is a very good athlete. This is a player that will be a crucial piece to the Wildcats’ overall success!
