Pac-12 releases 2020-21 schedule for Arizona Basketball
With the Arizona Basketball team soon kicking-off the 2020-21 season, the Pac-12 has finally released the upcoming schedule for the Wildcats.
We’re getting closer and closer to the start of the 2020-21 Arizona Basketball season, which to us means finally seeing our Wildcats take to the court.
Already it has been quite some time since the Wildcats last played basketball, especially as the Corona Virus pandemic shut down all of College Athletics back in March 2020.
Arizona Wildcats
Well, fast forward to now, and we will finally soon see action return to the hardwood. However, the question for us fans for the past few weeks has been who the Wildcats will play this season.
Just weeks ago, we saw the NCAA approve a season to start on November 25, which didn’t necessarily mean the Pac-12, and in particular our Wildcats would start then either. Luckily for us, the Pac-12 instead voted to approve a season to start earlier.
Well on Thursday afternoon, the Conference released their schedules for the upcoming 2020-21 season, and here is who the Wildcats will be facing with tentative dates.
The only unfortunate thing, is that times and TV Broadcasts have not been finalized yet.
With that said, here is who the Wildcats will play:
Dec. 2 – vs. Colorado
Dec. 19 – @ Stanford
Dec. 30-Jan. 3 – @ Washington & Washington State
Jan. 6-10 – vs. UCLA/USC
Jan. 13-17 – @ Oregon & Oregon State
Jan. 20-24 – @ ASU
Jan. 27-31 – vs. Cal/Stanford
Feb. 3-7 – @ Colorado/Utah
Feb. 10-14 – vs. Oregon & Oregon State
Feb. 17-21 – @ USC/UCLA
Feb. 24-28 – vs. Washington & Washington State
March 6-7 – vs. ASU
Unlike any other year before, Arizona will not play any Non-Conference games, which means less time to prepare and tighten things up before the Conference season starts
And with the Wildcats breaking in a new roster, this group will have to learn and adapt quickly, especially as they open against talented Colorado and Stanford teams.
Arizona will be presented with some tough challenges early on, and it’ll be interesting to see how this group responds. As always, Bear Down, Arizona!
