With the NBA Season soon returning, Former Wildcats Aaron Gordon could be on the move, and I try to break down some of the best potential spots.

The NBA Season ended just a few weeks ago, and already the league is gearing up for the 2020-21 season. With a lot of headlines being made this off-season so far, former Wildcat Aaron Gordon has been making some of his own as well.

In case you haven’t seen recently, it is that the soon-to-be seventh year player in the NBA is continuing to make strides, and at just 24-years of age, he still has a very bright future ahead of him. Unfortunately for Aaron, it just may be with another team.

Making news via Social Media on Tuesday afternoon, was that Gordon may be on the move, as his team, the Orlando Magic, are exploring their options that would potentially send their veteran forward elsewhere.

Still just 24 years old, Gordon is a young player with plenty of upside, and he has come a long ways from being the supremely athletic kid that played at the University of Arizona that was once fairly limited offensively.

A defensive-minded forward averaging 12.8 points and 6.4 rebounds in 403 games played, there is a lot that Gordon can offer to certain NBA teams, and with the right team, he could really flourish even more!

Biasedly, I think he would fit in well with the Phoenix Suns, however, that means them getting rid of Frank Kaminsky, and it also means that the Suns have to part ways Kelly Oubre, or at the very least split time with Gordon.

Not sure if I see that happening, nonetheless, he would be a great addition to the front court, and would give Ayton a lot of help defensively. Even better, is that the Suns would have two Wildcats on the roster.

Outside of that, I think the Clippers would be a good fit for him, especially if they use him as a true four, playing alongside Paul George and Kawhi Leonard. Additionally, the Brooklyn Nets, the San Antonio Spurs, the Minnesota Timberwolves, or even the Golden State Warriors would be good landing spots for him as well in my opinion.

And just in case you need a reminder of just how talented our ex-Wildcat is, here you go!
