It has been a busy past few days for the Arizona Football coaching staff, as the Wildcats have been offering numerous tight ends which is a good thing!

Arizona Football using Tight Ends again? We could only dream, right? Well, even though we’ve seemingly heard or thought that for about the last decade-plus, however, this time it may be soon coming to fruition.

For those that don’t know, the Wildcats and the coaching staff have been staying busy these past few days doling out numerous offers, many of which have gone to a few Tight Ends in the recruiting class for 2022!

While we should ultimately wait to see what transpires over the next few months to see if our suspicions remain true, you cannot help but be excited about the potential.

So far, in the early tenure of Head Coach Jedd Fisch and Tight End coach Jordan Paopao, both are making it known that Tight End will be a major recruiting prioritization for them moving forward, and all we can say is it is about damn time.

For a school that once had one of the NFL’s best Tight Ends play here, you would think that this program would have taken advantage of that publicity and notoriety, however, Arizona’s Tight End usage over the years has gone the way of the Dodo Bird.

So with the new regime heavily recruiting the Tight End position, we may be soon returning to the old days.

Over the past couple of seasons, we have had the pleasure of having a few talented individuals at the position, however, fans were only tantalized at the scantily used Bryce Wolma and limited play calling, which featured the use of the Tight End.

Hopefully, these recruiting efforts are a preview of what is to come. For now we dream! As always, Bear Down, Arizona!
