Picking up their second commitment in the class of 2022, Arizona Football has now added three-star Southern California area cornerback, Tacario Davis.

It was a great Monday for Jedd Fisch and Arizona Football, as the Wildcats continued their off-season success by picking up another commitment for 2022, this time it is from Southern California area cornerback Tacario Davis.

A standout in the class of 2022, Davis took to social media to announce his commitment, picking the Wildcats over offers from Arizona State and Kansas.

Considered just a three-star prospect, make no mistake about the long and lengthy defensive back plays for the talented Millikan High School in Long Beach, CA, and comes in as the No. 796 overall player in the class and the No. 66 overall player from the talent-rich state of California.

Disregard the limited offers and exposure, Arizona Football got a great pickup with the commitment of Tacario Davis.

For those who star watch and only look at the offers, Tacario is a kid that would have greatly benefitted from playing a junior season, remember, most high school kids in California did not play due to Covid restrictions.

Coming into 2022, I would expect for Tacario to pick up even more offers, and Arizona was smart to get involved early.

Currently standing 6-feet-2-inches and 185 pounds, Davis fits the mold of what the Wildcats are exactly looking for with Don Brown now as the Defensive Coordinator.

Tacario is a big, tall, lengthy, and athletic kid that likes to jam and create disruption at the line of scrimmage. And given Browns’ aggressive playstyle, this is a perfect fit for the Wildcats.

On film, Tacario possess good eye discipline, he is natural in his drop back, and he is incredibly fluid in coverage. He uses his size and length well, does a great job in pursuing the football, and attacks at the high point of the ball.

Just see for yourself!
