With the 2020-21 Arizona Basketball season officially over, Wildcats big man Christian Koloko has his eyes set for the 2022 NCAA Tournament and perhaps bringing in Bronny James?

The Arizona Basketball season is officially over, and we are all well-aware of the disappointment that was 2020-21. The inconsistencies in the abbreviated basketball season were ultimately overshadowed by the self-imposed ban from Arizona, which has left fans and players longing for a return to normalcy, including Wildcats big man, Christian Koloko.

While out and about in public the other day, Koloko was approached by the ever-so reliable media source TMZ, where he was asked about everything from the 2020-21 season, the outside distractions surrounding the program, returning to the NCAA Tournament, and more!

The soon-to-be junior wasn’t shy in his interview and says that he and the team are already putting in work to get this group back to the NCAA Tournament where they belong.

This year, the team did see some inconsistencies, but Koloko doesn’t attribute all of that to the outside distractions or the dark cloud looming over Sean Miller and the program. “We just put it behind the back and we just try to play basketball and do what we love,” he told TMZ.

“We’re thinking about the team,” he said. “We gotta come back next year and be stronger and have a chance to make it in the tournament next year.”

If Arizona is going to get there, the Cameroon native and former standout from Sierra Canyon High School in Southern California will have to continue to improve the off-season. Miller of course will need to continue to find the right talent. Perhaps one of those key pieces is Bronny James (son of NBA Legend, LeBron James).

A standout at Sierra Canyon himself, this may be a long shot for Arizona as Bronny is very much considered a Duke-lean at this point, however, you can’t discredit Christian for at least shooting his shot.
