Run it Back! Rob Gronkowski signs one-year deal with Tampa
Seeing a successful return to football in 2020 that ended with a fourth Super Bowl win, former Wildcat Rob Gronkowski has signed a one-year deal with Tampa Bay.
Following a successful return to football after a year hiatus, the show goes on for Rob Gronkowski in Tampa Bay as our former Wildcat will be running it back for one more year with the Buccaneers.
Making news on Monday afternoon, it was announced that the soon-to-be 32-year-old Tight End has signed a one-year deal with Tampa worth up to $10 million. Teaming up once again with friend and teammate Tom Brady, the two will look to add to their hardware as they look to defend their 2021 Super Bowl Title.
Arizona Wildcats
In his first year back in the league, the fun-loving Gronk saw a resurgence of sorts this year, hauling in 45 receptions for 623 yards and seven touchdowns. His eight receptions for 110 yards and two touchdowns in the Super Bowl even helped lead the Bucs to a win over the heavily favored Kansas City Chiefs.
With Tom turning 44 this off-season, the two likely don’t have much time left together in this league, however, Rob Gronkowski and Tom Brady will look to run it back.
Together, the two have proved that they are one of the most dynamic duos to ever play the game, and with the Buccaneers returning a large contingency of their talent, why not make another run at another championship?
Gronk is arguably the greatest Tight End of all-time and is easily the most accomplished and recognizable Wildcat of all-time as well. Seeing him still find success and staying relevant in this league is a great thing for Arizona Football. Plus, you can never have enough antics from Gronkowski!
Here is to hoping for another successful and productive year for Gronk in Tampa Bay!
