With Arizona Basketball squarely in the middle of their off-season, the Wildcats will look to add another key piece to the class of 2021.

With the 2020-21 season officially over for Arizona Basketball, the Wildcats are transitioning their focus towards recruiting and finishing out the recruiting class for 2021.

So far, Sean Miller and the Wildcats have done quite well, all things considered, securing a Top 25 recruiting class with the Signings of Shane NowellShane Dezonie, and K.J. Simpson. However, the great part is this team could still make some more moves too.

With TyTy Washington being a focus following his de-commitment from Creighton, it appears that Arizona may be looking for a stretch four as well.

If you have been paying attention to recent recruiting news, you would have seen that Ira Lee is going to be moving on from the program, so naturally, the Wildcats are looking to replace him, making offers to recent transfers in Kaiden Rice (The Citadel) and Jamison Battle (George Washington).

Both very solid players, these two could very much be plug-and-play players for Arizona Basketball that could have a big impact next season.

Kaiden Rice

A 6-foot-7-inch 205-pound sharp-shooting wing from The Citadel is fresh off a season in which he was averaging 17.6 points and 4.2 rebounds per game. Beyond that, he is a career, 34.5 percent three-point shooter.

As a senior, Kaiden has one year to play and fits in quite well with what Sean Miller and the Wildcats are trying to do offensively.

Jamison Battle

A sturdy, 6-foot-7-inch 225-pound forward from George Washington, Jamison has his choice of schools to choose from.

Academically a junior, Jamison will have two years to compete, and already the Minnesota native is on a great trajectory in his career. This past season with the Colonials, Jamison finished his season by averaging 17.3 points and 5.2 rebounds, even shooting 35.4 percent from three.

He would help the Wildcats immensely in the frontcourt and would be a major pick-up if Arizona were to secure a commitment.

Either way, it looks like the Wildcats have a plan moving forward and it will be interesting to see how this off-season plays out for Arizona.
