Following a seemingly long off-season, Arizona Football finally returns to action to kick-off Spring Football under first-year head coach Jedd Fisch.

Spring Football is finally here! After a long three months of transitioning from the Kevin Sumlin era to the Jedd Fisch era, and Arizona Football is set to take the field again, officially kicking off Spring.

It has been a long and busy off-season for the Wildcats as the new staff has put in a lot of work to not only finalize the 2021 recruiting class, but settle a roster with significant turnover, as well as hit the transfer portal hard.

The Spring is always about getting new guys acclimated, implementing new schemes, and slowly beginning to prepare for the upcoming season. For Arizona Football, it is going to be an introduction to everything including coach Fisch, as Jedd will be entering his first Spring as a head coach, and the first with the Wildcats no less.

Come Tuesday afternoon, the Wildcats will take to the field, kicking off what will be the first of 15 workouts over the next five weeks. Competing every Tuesday and Thursday afternoon, and Saturday mornings, football is back in the Desert… for the time being.

It’s Personal for Arizona Football and head coach Jedd Fisch as the Wildcats look to repair the image of the program

Coming in, Coach Fisch wanted to bridge the divide between the football program and the local community, as the relationship had been seemingly cut off with recent regimes.

In hopes of restoring the fractured relationship, Coach Fisch had already promised to give more access and exposure to his program coming into this season. The first-year head coach wasn’t lying either as the Wildcats announced that a few practices will be open to the public and will be limited to the first 200 visitors.

Come this afternoon, Arizona Football will officially be back, and It’s Personal this season!
