Staying busy this off-season, former Wildcat Will Parks is on the move again, officially signing with conference rival, the Kansas City Chiefs.

Entering his sixth year in the NFL and former Wildcat Will Parks has found a new home yet again as the NFL veteran has signed with the defending AFC Champions, the Kansas City Chiefs.

Making news via social media, NFL Analyst Adam Schefter broke the news on Wednesday afternoon, and we are excited for ‘Philly Will’.

In his young football career, Will has already beaten the odds. Going from a lowly two-star recruit in 2012 that came to Tucson with the ambition of putting himself on the map, quickly Will rose to college stardom, eventually finding his way to the NFL.

After being drafted No. 219 overall in the 6th round of the 2016 NFL Draft by the Denver Broncos, Will has found a way to beat the odds again, now entering year six of his NFL Career.

And ever since coming to the league, he has made himself known as being a key role and versatile athlete that can fill in at numerous spots.

Starting in 18 games out of a possible 72, Will has accumulated 180 tackles (131 solo), 7.0 tackles for loss, 2.0 sacks, two forced fumbles, and four interceptions. In his limited opportunities, he has risen to the challenge.

So naturally, after a tumultuous 2020 season in which Will Parks played with the Philadelphia Eagles and the Broncos, he is going to a new home with a bit more stability perhaps.

Just 26, Will has plenty left to offer for teams, and as previously proven, if in the right system and situation, he can flourish. So with a young talented quarterback and plenty of solid defensive pieces, perhaps Kansas City is just the place for Will to succeed?

In 2021, Will should provide immediate depth to the Chiefs’ secondary, and his experience could be beneficial. And in case you need a reminder of what this talented young man can do, here you go…
