Continuing to make progress in the recruiting class for 2021, Tommy Lloyd and Arizona Basketball have added French guard Adama Bal.

It has been a busy off-season on the recruiting trail for the Arizona Basketball team as Tommy Lloyd continues to bring his International flair to the Wildcats. And just days after adding Utah transfer Pelle Larsson, Arizona has now added the Top International prospect for 2021 in French guard Adama Bal.

ESPN’s Jonathan Givony broke the news of his commitment via social media on Tuesday afternoon, as Adama officially picked the Wildcats over offers from Creighton, Marquette, Cincinnati, and Colorado among others.

Bal is considered to be the top International prospect for 2021, and his commitment comes at an opportune time for the Wildcats. As we saw just a couple of weeks ago, it was apparent that Arizona was in desperate need of more guards, and it looks like Lloyd is taking care of that.

Following his commitment to Arizona, here is what Adama had to say regarding his decision.

"“Coach Tommy Lloyd and his staff were the key,” Bal said. “He recruited me at Gonzaga and offered me the first day on the job at Arizona. He showed me how much he wanted me every step of the way.”"

So what is Arizona Basketball getting with the commitment Adama Bal?

For those that don’t know who Adama is, he is the 6-foot-6-inch, 180-pound combo guard from INSEP Paris in France, and should be considered a four-star guard once his ranking is updated with 247Sports.

A lengthy and athletic guard, Adama has a terrific wingspan at 6-feet-11-inches. He possesses a lot of versatility that can allow the Wildcats to use him in a variety of ways. Plus, he can see the floor well and also has a decent jumper that extends out to the three-point line.

Overall, he is a nice addition, and he provides immediate depth and skill in the backcourt. Just take a look at what the Wildcats are getting for next season!
