Picking up their recruiting action for the class of 2022, the Arizona Football team has received a commitment from three-star cornerback Kyron Chambers.

It has been a busy couple of weeks for Arizona Football as the Wildcats not only prepare for the upcoming season but also as recruiting restrictions have been lifted by the NCAA. So far, their hard work has paid off as Arizona has received a commitment from Texas-based cornerback, Kyron Chambers.

A standout recruit in the class of 2022, the three-star corner from South Oak Cliff High School (Dallas, TX) made his announcement via social media, picking the Wildcats despite also receiving offers from ASU, South Carolina, Cincinnati, Georgia Tech, and Oklahoma State among numerous others.

Coming in, Kyron ranks as the No. 487 overall recruit for the class of 2022 and is the No. 66 overall player in the talent-rich state of Texas.

Standing 6-feet and weighing roughly 195 pounds, Kyron Chambers is a big athlete, but also a big get for Arizona Football.

Over the past couple of years, it has been evident that the Wildcats desperately need an upgrade in talent if they are going to compete with the top half of the Pac-12, and this staff hasn’t been shy in swinging for the fences.

Kyron is a Top 500 player nationally, and the fact that Arizona beat out a few Power Five programs to get him is a great sign of the work this staff has been putting in!

So what are the Wildcats getting with the standout from South Oak Cliff High School?

A lengthy and rangy athlete, Kyron covers a lot of the field well, possesses great instincts, and he sees the ball well, and reacts.

He doesn’t wait to see the play come to him, he attacks, and gets downhill fast. He is smooth in his coverage, is fluid with his hips, and does a great job of putting himself in a position to make a play. Plus, he doesn’t shy from contact, possessing some nice pop on his tackles.
