Continuing to make moves in the class of 2022, Arizona Football gained another commitment from three-star Hawaiian offensive lineman, Jonah Savaiinaea.

It has been a busy off-season for head coach Jedd Fisch and the Arizona Football team as the Wildcats have been steadily hitting the recruiting trail. Well, it seems the hard is paying off as Arizona has received yet another commitment for 2022, this time from three-star offensive lineman, Jonah Savaiinaea.

The news of Jonah’s commitment broke via social media on Tuesday afternoon, and he becomes the eighth commitment for the Wildcats in the class of 2022, officially picking Arizona over offers Arizona State, Syracuse, San Diego State, Hawaii, and UCF among others.

For those that have long been waiting for Arizona to re-establish the Hawaii-to-Arizona pipeline again, are sure in for a treat as Jonah hails from the talented St. Louis High School in Honolulu, HI. However, Savaiinaea is originally a native of American Samoa.

A big, bruising interior lineman, Jonah stands a massive 6-feet-3-inches and weighs 330 pounds, and his addition will surely be welcomed as the Wildcats look to add more depth and talent along the offensive line.

Becoming just the second lineman added to the class, Jonah also joins fellow Wildcat commit Grayson Stovall (Hamilton HS – Chandler, AZ).

So what is Arizona Football getting with the addition of three-star Hawaiian offensive lineman, Jonah Savaiinaea?

Coming in rated as a three-star lineman, Jonah mostly projects as a guard at the next level and ranks No. 68 for his position. Jonah is also considered to be No. 5 in the state of Hawaii, as well as being the No. 1,316 overall player for 2022.

Jonah is a big kid that seems to move well for a player of his size, and he packs a hefty first punch when he makes contact with the defender.

He has solid lateral quickness, can get to the second level, and typically excels more in the running game. Overall, he is a solid athlete with good, raw talent.

Just take a look for yourself!
