Continuing to build out their recruiting class for 2022, Arizona Football has added a three-star cornerback from Fresno, CA, TJ Hall.

Jedd Fisch and Arizona Football are on a roll in recruiting, and on Tuesday afternoon, the Wildcats received yet another commitment for 2022 in three-star defensive back, TJ Hall.

Making his announcement via social media, TJ committed to the Wildcats despite holding offers from Colorado, Fresno State, Oregon State, and Nevada among others.

Becoming the 11th commitment in the class for Arizona, TJ’s addition shows the continued aggressive recruiting style by coach Fisch and the Wildcats

TJ comes in rated as a three-star recruit and is listed as the No. 964 overall player in the class for 2022. He is also the No. 70 overall player in the talented state of California.

The addition of three-star Fresno cornerback TJ Hall gives Arizona Football more size and depth in the defensive backfield.

Listed as an “Athlete”, however, with his long and lengthy frame, this is a kid who will have the opportunity to play cornerback first. And at 6-feet-2-inches and 165 pounds, he the possess ideal size for the position in the PAc-12 in my opinion.

A standout two-way athlete at San Joaquin Memorial High School in Fresno, CA, TJ is going to give the Wildcats a lot of size and versatility in the defensive backfield, and it also gives Defensive Coordinator Don Brown and cornerback coach DeWayne Walker another solid defensive piece to work with.

A long and lengthy kid, TJ excels in the secondary and is smooth when he drops into coverage. He also possesses great eye discipline, seeing the ball and reacting.

He is also a quick and explosive athlete, using his size and length well to his advantage to disrupt passing lanes and even attacking the high point of the football to get the interception.

Here’s a little preview of what the Wildcats are getting with TJ.
