Continuing to make progress in the recruiting class of 2022, Arizona Football has received a commitment from four-star corner, Zeke Berry.

The 2022 recruiting class is continuing to take form for Arizona Football, and already after being on the job for seven months, head coach Jedd Fisch has done wonders, especially as he received yet another commitment, this time from four-star cornerback, Zeke Berry.

Making news via social media on Friday afternoon, the two-way standout from De La Salle High School (Concord, CA) took to social media, officially committing to the Wildcats despite holding offers from Oregon, Arizona State, Oregon State, Utah, UCLA, and Tennessee among several others.

Zeke is the highest-rated commitment for Arizona in the class of 2022 to date, and he comes in rated as a four-star recruit and the No. 143 overall player in the class according to 247Sports.

However, based on his composite rankings, he is listed as the No. 384 player overall. Zeke is considered to be the No. 28 player in the state of California.

Arizona Football and Jedd Fisch get their first four-star recruit for 2022 with the addition of Bay Area corner, Zeke Berry.

Standing 6-feet tall and weighing 185 pounds, Zeke is a kid with great athleticism and a solid frame. With De La Salle, he plays just about everywhere, lining up at safety and even at running back too.

That athleticism should prove to be beneficial for the Wildcats, as coach Fisch and Co. can use him in several ways. However, I would have to think he mostly projects to be a secondary player for the Wildcats.

Here is what National Recruiting Editor Brandon Huffman (247Sports) had to say:

"“Can play cornerback, safety, running back, or receiver, but projects best to be a defensive back in college. Can come downhill and end plays with big hits and open-field tackling ability, but is able to run stride for stride with receivers and has tremendous ball skills, hips, and quick hands. As a receiver shows great burst when taking short passes and sticking his foot in the dirt to get into the open field.”"
