It is game week for Arizona Football, and with the Wildcats and Cougars expecting to draw a large crowd in Vegas, we look at that game and other notes.

It is going to be an exciting week for Arizona Football as the Wildcats will finally usher in the Jedd Fisch era as the Wildcats take on BYU in Las Vegas this weekend.

The Wildcats open up the 2021 season on Saturday at Allegiant Stadium, and while the matchup should prove to be a tough one for Arizona, it should also be a historic one.

On Monday, it was announced by Pac-12 Commissioner George Kliavkoff that Saturday’s game in Las Vegas  is expected to be the largest crowd to watch a college sporting event in Nevada’s history. So far, approximately 57,000 tickets have been sold.

Coming into this, BYU has had a lot of roster turnover they have had to settle, but should have a talented and physical group that is going to provide a tough test for Arizona.

Arizona Football’s probability in pulling off the upset along with other game notes.

In Arizona’s presser on Monday afternoon, coach Fisch seemed to allude to the Wildcats having more separation at quarterback, which is a good thing considering Arizona Football named two starters at the position just a week prior.

Beyond that, coach Fisch believes the team should be at their healthiest (outside of Jamarye Joiner who is still weeks away from playing after having surgery for his Jones Fracture).

The overall team health is important coming into this game, and if the Wildcats are going to pull off the upset, it is going to take a complete team effort.

Either way, Arizona enters the game as a 12.5-point underdog and should have a battle on their hands. Kick off for Saturday is set for 7:30 p.m. MST and will be televised on ESPN.
