The NBA season is just around the corner, and former Wildcat Deandre Ayton is seeking a restructured contract that would include a lot more money!

It has been an NBA off-season so far as there has been no shortage of marquee player signings and blockbuster trades. However, one player that is still looking for a huge deal this off-season is the former Wildcat star, Deandre Ayton.

The former No. 1 pick in the 2018 NBA Draft has been steadily improving his game and is showing his worth, having played on some of the largest stages, despite being only 23.

This past summer, we all witnessed as Deandre and the Phoenix Suns cruised through the NBA Playoffs and came within two wins of their first NBA Championship in franchise history.

And instrumental in the Suns’ run to their first NBA Championship appearance in 28 years was the play of Ayton.

Showcasing his ability as a two-way player, and proving to be a steady rising star in the league, Ayton certainly proved his worth during the 2020-21 season and in the playoffs. So naturally, after the stretch he had, the former Wildcat star is looking to solidify his long-term future.

With several other NBA Stars getting restructured contracts this off-season, Deandre Ayton is also looking for a bigger contract!

This off-season has been a busy one in the NBA so far, and with just a few weeks until the start of the season, I imagine there will still be plenty of action in the league.

Hopefully, Deandre Ayton will be one of the players who could see a busy couple of weeks.

The former Wildcat has proved his worth in this league the past couple of months, and with a few, comparable NBA stars getting restructured and bigger contracts, that Ayton will get one as well.

His future is bright in Phoenix, and the team has a bright future as well, so long as that future includes Ayton!
