Making more moves in the recruiting class of 2022, Arizona Football picked up another commitment, this time from Servite linebacker, Jacob Manu.  Arizona Football may be having a rough year on the field, but luckily they are still finding success off it, as the Wildcats picked up another commitment for 2022, this time from three-star linebacker, Jacob Manu. Making news via social media on Sunday afternoon, the Servite High School (Anaheim, CA) standout made his announcement, officially committing to the Wildcats. https://twitter.com/Jacobmanu6/status/1447329669959733249?s=20 Becoming the 16th commitment in the class (defensive back Zeke Berry did de-commit earlier in the day), Jacob picked the Wildcats over offers from Dartmouth and Penn.

Joining fellow high school teammate commits Noah Fifita and Keyan Burnett, Jacob Manu is another Servite standout that is committed to Arizona Football.

Considered to be a three-star recruit, Jacob is an ‘under the radar’ type of player, and what he lacks in notoriety, he more than makes up for with a big game. Standing a stout, 5-feet-11-inches, and weighing 210 pounds, Jacob fits the linebacker/safety position perfectly, despite being a little undersized for a linebacker at the next level. His size has unfortunately impacted the number of scholarships he currently has, however, this is a kid that is rock solid. He plays sideline-to-sideline well and packs one hell of a punch when he puts a lick on the opposing ball carrier. Playing for one of the best teams in Southern California at Servite, he is a big reason for the teams’ success. And you can see his impact anytime you flip on the highlight tape. Being among the leaders of his team with 37 tackles (12 solo), 4.0 tackles for loss, and a sack (
