BOULDER, CO – With Arizona Football (0-5, 0-2) set to take on the Colorado Buffaloes (1-4, 0-2), our staff gives their predictions ahead of the game!

It is gameday for Arizona Football, as the Wildcats look to take on Pac-12 South foe, the Colorado Buffaloes in Boulder.

Coming in, the Wildcats are riding a current, 17-game losing streak (the nation’s longest active losing streak), and beyond that, Arizona will be battling a lot of adversity with several injuries and midseason roster attrition.

Arizona’s last win as a program came October 5, 2019, in Boulder coincidentally, and perhaps to the Wildcats’ advantage, they are 4-0 against the Buffaloes while playing in Boulder in the modern, Pac-12 era.

With Arizona Football entering this game as underdogs, here are our staff’s predictions ahead of that game!

Colorado 24 Arizona 20 – This is Arizona’s most winnable game left on the schedule, however, without Jordan McCloud out, I don’t like the Wildcats’ chances.

Arizona isn’t a good road team or team in general, and when you have a program that is arguably at one of its lowest points in program history, the confidence and optimism naturally are not going to be very high.

And when you throw Gunner Cruz back into the mix largely out of necessity, because you don’t have anyone else, that makes this game seemingly less winnable. While I think Arizona keeps it close, they ultimately come up short in getting that elusive first win. I do think they finally score over 19 points though!

Arizona 24 Colorado 23 – I think Arizona finally breaks the losing streak and gets back in the win column. This game will be a thriller as Arizona eeks out the win in Boulder.

Colorado 31 Arizona 20 – Unstable quarterback play holds the Wildcats back in this one, and the Buffaloes capitalize on turnovers.

Arizona 24 Colorado 21 – It’s time! Arizona gets the win!
