TEMPE, AZ – Arizona Football (1-10, 1-7) is set for their final game of the 2021 season as the Wildcats face the Arizona State Sun Devils (7-4,5-3).

We finally reach the end of the Arizona Football season as the Wildcats take on those guys up North this weekend and put on the pads one last time in 2021.

Coming in, there have been a few distractions for the Wildcats as defensive coordinator Don Brown announced that he is leaving Arizona for UMass, and on top of that, Arizona will be playing a bit shorthanded as well as they have dealt with a myriad of injuries, linebacker Jerry Robert, Jr. being the latest.

Entering the game as major underdogs and fresh off a big loss to Wazzu, remember, this is largely the same team that is a year removed from getting walloped 70-7 in Tucson. And everything coming into this game has been building for the last year.

That loss sparked a coaching change that brought in Jedd Fisch and he has been doing his best to change the culture of Arizona Football and get this program back on track.

For the last year, things have been personal in Tucson as the team has battled injuries, attrition, adversity, and everything in between.

As they make the 100+mile journey to Tempe on Saturday, Arizona is going to have to be ready and play to a level beyond what they’ve shown this year if they are going to win.

Nonetheless, the Wildcats will be ready as they hope to knock off the Sun Devils. Here is how you can watch and follow Arizona Football!

Arizona Game Preview:

Arizona enters this game, losers of four straight to the Sun Devils, and this will also be the first time that the Wildcats play against ASU with Jedd Fisch as head coach.

Coming into this matchup with a 49-44-1 lead over the Devils all-time, the Wildcats are also losers of seven of the last nine matchups against ASU, which unfortunately includes last years’ 70-7 throttling in Tucson.

The Wildcats will look to end their year on a high note and build momentum as they head into next season. Granted the challenge won’t be easy as Arizona enters as major underdogs, and will have to overcome significant injury losses here.

If Arizona is to come away with the upset, they will need a huge performance from virtually everyone, and either way, it is time for some Arizona Football!
