Hosting several recruits this weekend for an official visit, Arizona Football has received a commitment from 2022 SoCal receiver, Kevin Green, Jr.

The 2021 Arizona Football season may be over but Jedd Fisch and the Wildcats are continuing to stay busy this off-season as they try to finalize the recruiting class for 2022. The latest piece just so happens to be standout SoCal wide receiver and former USC commit, Kevin Green, Jr.

A highly-skilled and talented wide receiver from Bishop Alemany High School in Mission Hills, CA, Kevin is considered a four-star athlete according to 247Sports, and he becomes the 17th commitment in the class of 2022.

Making his announcement via social media on Saturday afternoon, Kevin picked the Wildcats over offers from Oregon, Penn State, USC, and Utah among others, and he his another huge addition by the Cats.

Continuing their successful off-season, the commitment of Kevin Green, Jr. gives Arizona Football another talented player for the class of 2022.

Coming in as head coach, Jedd Fisch was desperately needing an infusion of talent if they were going to expedite the rebuild of Arizona Football, and so far, he and staff deserve a ton of credit for the Wildcats’ current recruiting success.

With the commitment of Green, Arizona’s class now ranks 37th overall (a stark contrast from last years’ ranking of 77th), and there’s still an opportunity for the Cats to finish strong here!

Coming in as a 5-foot-11-inch, 165-pound receiver, Green may be smaller in stature but he still possesses big game potential.

He is a two-way athlete with speed and big play making potential, and given Arizona’s needs at receiver following the departure of Stanley Berryhill III and the transfers of Booby Curry and Brian Casteel, this commitment makes a lot of sense.

This is a HUGE pick up by the Wildcats and based on his film, you can see why we’re excited about this one!
