Making progress in their recruiting class for 2022, Adia Barnes and Arizona Women’s Basketball have received a commitment from five-star guard, Paris Clark.

Since returning to Tucson to take over a dormant and bottom-dwelling Arizona Women’s Basketball program, Adia Barnes has been on a roll as she has transformed this program for the better. And once against her success has culminated into receiving another huge commitment, this time for 2022 five-star guard, Paris Clark.

Making news on Monday afternoon, Paris announced her commitment to the Wildcats, this just months after previously being committed to conference rival, the UCLA Bruins.

Hailing from Long Island Lutheran High School in New York, Paris becomes the fourth commitment in the class of 2022 as she joins five-star forward Maya Nnaji (sister of former Wildcat Zeke Nnaji), four-star point guard Kailyn Gilbert, and four-star guard, Lemyah Hylton.

Bringing in four ESPN Top 100 recruits, Arizona currently has one of the best classes in the country, this on the heels of a deep NCAA Tournament run in which the Wildcats went to the Final Four, and subsequently signed a Top 25 recruiting class this past off-season.

Now with the addition of Paris Clark, Adia Barnes and Arizona Women’s Basketball solidify their backcourt for the immediate future.

This year has been an interesting one for Arizona. Despite losing highly-decorated guard Aari McDonald to the WNBA Draft this off-season, the Wildcats have not missed a beat in her absence, rattling off nine-straight wins and starting the year 9-0, Arizona has another talented squad in 2021-22.

Even more impressive, is that along the way, the Wildcats have gotten marquee wins against then No. 6 ranked Louisville, Depaul, Vanderbilt, and most recently they picked up a gutsy win over a talented New Mexico team.

With Barnes and Arizona looking to sustain their success for 2022 and beyond, the Wildcats are poised to do so as they add Clark and a few other talented pieces.

Clark is a talented combo-guard that stands 5-feet-8-inches, with big game and even bigger potential! Based on her film, Barnes and the Wildcats appear to have a good one!
