Arizona Football adds former USC 4-star CB, Ephesians Prysock
Getting a huge signing day surprise, Arizona Football and Jedd Fisch have added former four-star SoCal Cornerback, Ephesians Prysock for 2022.
Signing day has already been a busy one for Arizona Football as the Wildcats added Miami-area athlete Jai-Ayviauynn Celestine and flipped Wazzu commit Tatai Uiagalelei but the action hasn’t stopped there as Arizona has also added former USC commit and four-star cornerback, Ephesians Prysock.
A standout athlete in the class of 2022 from the talented Bishop Alemany High School in Mission Hills, CA, Ephesians is a nice signing day surprise for the Wildcats as he is the third, former USC commit to flip to Arizona, and he picks the Cats over offers from USC, Ohio State, ASU, and Boston College among others.
Ranking as the No. 249 player overall in the class of 2022, Ephesians is also considered to be the No. 21 overall player from the talent-rich state of California and is now one of Arizona’s highest-rated commits in the class.
Becoming the 20th commitment in the class for the Cats, he addresses a big area of need for Arizona, and he is a nice replacement to Kyron Chambers who de-committed from the Wildcats just days ago.
Coming in as a highly touted cornerback, Arizona Football adds a valuable piece to the defense with the commitment of Ephesians Prysock.
As we all saw this past season, it is that the Wildcats desperately needed help on defense, and in particular in the secondary. Luckily, they are getting a huge addition in Ephesians.
A long and athletic defensive back from Southern California, this is a kid with tremendous length, and can even add size to his thin frame and still be effective.
He’s explosive, shows great eye discipline, and his length allows him to match well in the secondary and even disrupt passing lanes. From his highlight film, you can see the potential!
