Getting things started early on National Signing Day, Jedd Fisch and Arizona Football gets a surprise as they add Palmetto athlete Jai-Ayviauynn Celestine.
The early signing day is here, and already Arizona Football is off and running as Jedd Fisch and the Wildcats received one of their first signings with the addition of Palmetto athlete Jai-Ayviauynn Celestine.
Making news early Wednesday morning, it is that the Wildcats flipped the former Western Carolina commit, especially days after he was just on campus visiting Arizona.

Considered a three-star athlete in the class, Celestine hails from Miami Palmetto High School which is a hotbed area for talent in Florida, and he brings intrigue to the Wildcats.
A talented athlete that can play multiple positions, this is a kid with an interesting recruitment. He picked up an offer early from Florida State but since saw things slow down as he received an offer from Utah State, Tennessee State, Jacksonville State, and most recently Arizona.
Either way, Arizona Football stands to benefit here as they add 2022 athlete, Jai-Ayviauynn Celestine.
Becoming the 18th commitment in the class, this is a recruit that could turn out to be a surprise for Arizona. Standing a sturdy 5-feet-9-inches and weighing 175 pounds, he has the size to play running back but also is talented enough to be a slot receiver and pass-catcher out of the backfield, which is where I see him being used while at Arizona.
At Miami Palmetto High School, this is a kid that did it all, serving as a utility man of sorts as he played cornerback, safety, quarterback, wide receiver, and running back. This past season, he had 16 carries for 173 yards and two touchdowns, while also totaling 95 yards on 13 receptions with three touchdowns.
A player that is good in space, Celestine is a player that can be used in multiple ways, and he oozes potential. Based on his film, you can see why the Wildcats wanted to add him!
