Arizona Football received another big-time commitment for 2022 as four-star running back Rayshon Luke has picked the Wildcats.

Just when you think things could not get any better for Arizona Football on the recruiting trail, the Wildcats received yet another huge commitment in the class of 2022 as Southern California running back Rayshon Luke picked the Wildcats.

Making his announcement live on Saturday afternoon at the Army All-American Bowl held in San Antonio, TX, the star running back from St. John Bosco High School in Bellflower, CA officially committed to Arizona.

Despite receiving offers from Louisville, San Jose State, ASU, Florida, and Boston College among several others, Luke becomes the 22nd commitment in the class, and it is also rumored that Rayshon committed to Arizona back on early signing day but kept his commitment quiet.

Joining the Wildcats as a speedy two-sport athlete, the Wildcats get a good one here as Rayshon is considered to be a four-star recruit in the class, and ranks No. 261 overall in the country and No. 24 overall from the talent-rich state of California according to 247Sports.

Joining Arizona Football, the commitment of Rayshon Luke means the Wildcats get another valuable offensive weapon.

Coming into this off-season, it was clear that the Wildcats needed more help on the offensive side of the ball, and with the commitment of Rayshon, he will help provide the firepower that they so desperately need.

At 5-feet-8-inches and 175 pounds, Rayshon is a bit smaller in stature; however, this is a kid that possesses big game!

Playing for a powerhouse football program in St. John Bosco, Luke has made himself known as being a bit of a speedster out of the backfield, as he also runs track.

In 10 games this season, Rayshon rushed for 944 yards and 10 touchdowns on 76 carries (12.4 yards per carry) according to Maxpreps.

He is quick, elusive, and agile and makes people miss with ease. He is able to burst out of the backfield and turn on the burners to make smaller runs big ones! He is also a very capable pass-catcher out of that backfield that can be used on bubble screens and wheel routes.

Just take a look at the Wildcats’ new offensive weapon!
