After a brief absence from the team, starting point guard Kerr Kriisa will return to Arizona Basketball this week, ahead of their weekend action.

As we all saw in their game against Utah on Saturday, Arizona Basketball was a noticeably different team with their star point guard Kerr Kriisa absent from the lineup.

He brings a certain confidence and competence to the team, and even though Arizona went on to win by an 82-64 final, the Wildcats looked a bit like a different team.

Of course, as we are all aware by now, Kerr was scratched from starting just moments before the game, and it was later revealed after the game by head coach Tommy Lloyd that he got hurt “horsing around” in pregame festivities. However, Lloyd did continue on to say that he would be expected back this week.

Well, in his weekly radio show held on Monday evening, and also confirmed by Jason Scheer of Wildcat Authority, Lloyd once again confirmed that he [Kerr] will be back this week.

And with Arizona Basketball facing Stanford and Cal this week, the return of Kerr Kriisa will surely be welcomed by the Wildcats.

Arizona is rolling this year as the Wildcats are now 14-1 (4-0) on the season and are currently ranked No. 3 in the latest AP Top 25 Poll.

Kerr has been a big part of the teams’ success this year, and as I stated earlier in this article, there is a noticeable difference when he is not on the floor.

He brings a certain confidence and poise to this team, and his production, particularly when it comes to leading and directing this offense is unmatched.

The sophomore guard is currently averaging 11.7 points, 5.4 assists, and 2.5 rebounds on the year, and is already making a name for himself by being the villain to opposing teams.

Either way, we are just glad to have Kerr back and are excited to see the Wildcats return to action!

Must Read. Kerr Kriisa is the both hero and the villain for Arizona Basketball. light
