Already making progress in their recruiting class for 2023, Arizona Football has added three-star Texas cornerback, Canyon Moses.

The 2022 recruiting class may be wrapping up for Arizona Football, but the work on the recruiting trail isn’t stopping as the focus has turned to the class of 2023 and beyond. And already, the Wildcats are off to a great start, adding Texas cornerback Canyon Moses.

Making news via social media on Tuesday evening, the Midland Legacy High School standout from Midland, TX announced his commitment, and to our delight, he picked the Wildcats. This despite also holding offers from Buffalo and Kansas State in a recruitment that is bound to take off shortly.

Coming in as a three-star player in the class, Canyon is considered to be the No. 438 overall player in the class, as well as the No. 74 overall in the talent-rich state of Texas. And for Arizona, this is one hell of a start for 2023.

Just days ago, Moses was on the University of Arizona campus, along with a slew of other recruits, taking in the sites, sounds, and atmosphere in Southern Arizona.

And following his trip to Tucson, Canyon Moses has officially committed to Arizona Football, getting things rolling for the Wildcats for 2023!

Standing 5-feet-9-inches and weighing 180 pounds, Canyon is a bit on the smaller side for a corner, but what he lacks in stature, he more than makes up for in his game.

With Midland Legacy High School this past season, Canyon finished his year with 65 tackles (52 solo), 2.0 tackles for loss, four interceptions, and nine pass deflections according to Maxpreps.

On film, this is a talented kid with great speed, good footwork, and fluid hips. Even with his frame, he doesn’t shy from contact as he likes to play physical, and even with his size, I could very well see him moving to safety.

Overall, I think Arizona got a good one here, and you can see his potential!
