In a rematch of a 67-56 Wildcats win from a couple weeks ago, I believe we’re getting tremendous value on the total tonight.
Arizona boasts the 9th-best adjusted defensive efficiency in the country behind the lowest 2-point defensive shooting percentage of anyone. With the 8th-ranked offensive rebounding percentage and 30th-lowest defensive free throw rate, they prevent second-chance opportunities and don’t let opponents get free shots at the charity stripe.
It’s no wonder the under is 9-2 in their last 11.
Today they’ll face a Sun Devils squad that has been nearly automatic for under bettors. Before a triple-overtime win against UCLA pushed the total over, the under was 9-1 in the Sun Devils’ last 10 and a perfect 10-0 in their home games.
Given both teams’ recent trends and the low 67-56 score of the first matchup, I don’t understand why this line is up at 143. The Sun Devils were on fire from beyond the arc in regulation against UCLA and the total still only went over because of overtime.
