Here’s how we’re betting tonight’s game:

Arizona vs Washington State Prediction

At 9-1 in their last 10 games, the Wildcats are one of the best, most balanced teams in America. They have the 18th-best adjusted offensive efficiency and 12th-ranked defensive efficiency behind the 9th-highest 2-point shooting percentage and best 2-point defense in the country.

They’ll have their work cut out for them against a Cougars team that has won six of seven and has a defense that can hang with Arizona’s. Washington State ranks 14th nationally in adjusted defensive efficiency with the 20th-best 2-point defense and 38th-best 3-point defense. They prefer to play at a slow pace, ranking 268th in adjusted tempo, while the Wildcats prefer to play fast and push the ball in transition.

If Arizona can control the tempo and make the Cougars uncomfortable, they should cover. However, they haven’t had to play many games against teams that can compete with them. Just two of their previous 10 games closed with a spread below 11 points, so I worry that the Wildcats aren’t used to the type of defensive pressure they’ll get from Washington State.

What’s more, Arizona is just 1-3-1 against the spread (ATS) in their last five, while the Cougars have covered in three of their last four.

Instead of looking to the spread, I’ll be playing the total. The under is 9-3 in the Wildcats’ last dozen games and 13-3 in Washington State’s last 16, including 8-0 in their last eight home games. In the Cougars’ last 13 games, only three times has the total closed above 140 and it went under all three times.

Give me the under 145 (-110) in a defensive battle as Washington State tries to slow the game down and pull off an upset over the Wildcats.

While betting the under in these teams’ games has been close to a sure thing, a free $200 cash over at WynnBET actually is guaranteed. Don’t forget to claim your offer today. Bet $10, Win $200, sign up for WynnBET now!
