Arizona vs Oregon Prediction
What was once billed as a potential battle for Pac-12 supremacy is now just one dominant team against one struggling to put their shoes on. Arizona is absolutely cruising, ranking 11th in adjusted offensive efficiency and 10th in defensive efficiency with the sixth-best 2-point offense and best 2-point defense. They look every bit the part of a national championship contender and are undefeated at home.
Today they’ll face an Oregon team that just lost by 24 to Arizona State as a favorite and has now failed to cover the spread in five straight games. The Ducks are just 9-17 against the spread (ATS) on the season but have won five of their last six road games. They have the 51st-ranked offense and 81st-best defense, per Bart Torvik, and are desperate to right the ship and cement their NCAA tournament bid.
While Arizona is indeed one of the best teams in America, oddsmakers have taken note and their lines reflect that. Despite being undefeated at home, they’re just 2-6 ATS in their last eight home games. I’m wary to back them with such a large spread against a Ducks squad that certainly has the talent to hang with the Wildcats, so instead I’ll look to the total for value.
The under has hit in six straight Arizona home games and is 11-4 in their last 15 games overall. Oregon’s offensive strength is inside, but against the Wildcats’ dominant interior defense I expect them to struggle. This is the highest total in a Ducks game all season and unless they shoot the lights out from beyond the arc, I don’t see how the score gets this high.
Give me the under 152.5 (-110) in a game Arizona controls from start to finish.
While Arizona has been close to sure thing all season, the free $200 cash offer courtesy of WynnBET actually is a sure thing. Don’t forget to claim your offer now. Bet $10, win $200 by signing up for WynnBET now!
