With Spring Football wrapping up for Arizona Football, the Wildcats are just about set for the annual Spring game which will take place this weekend.

It has been a rather fortuitous Spring for Arizona Football as the Wildcats have been quietly practicing the past few weeks, continuing to make preparations for the 2022 season.

Distancing themselves from that rather rough 2021 season that resulted in just one win, a 10-7 thriller over a Covid-depleted Cal team, Arizona seems poised to make a sizable jump in 2022.

Welcoming new faces like Jayden de Laura, Tetairoa McMillan, Noah Fifita, Keyan Burnett, and DJ Warnell among several others in Tucson this Spring, the Wildcats have significantly upgraded at several positions. However, Arizona must continue to make strides to get better.

That is why this last week of practice will be a crucial one for Arizona. The Wildcats will use this last week of practice to continue to make preparations for the 2022 season; however, that will all come to an end this weekend once the Wildcats take the field one last time for the annual Spring Football game.

As you may recall, former Wildcats Rob Gronkowski and Tedy Bruschi were the honorary coaches last year; however, this year, there will be a few new faces.

Bruschi will once again be involved, while Lance Briggs will serve as the other honorary head coach. They will be accompanied by Adia Barnes and Mike Candrea, who will serve as the offensive coordinators.
