With the Arizona Basketball fully entrenched in a busy off-season, the Wildcats have secured a last-minute visit from 2022 Canadian forward, Leonard Miller.

We’re just weeks into the off-season for Arizona Basketball and already the Wildcats are staying busy with the roster currently being a work in progress.

As predicted, Bennedict Mathurin declared for the 2022 NBA Draft, and now Arizona will look for potential rosters replacements. And as we’ve recently learned, one of those potential replacements is Canadian forward, Leonard Miller.

A 6-foot-9 small forward that hails from Fort Erie International Academy in Fort Erie, Ontario, Canada, Miller is one of the top prospects in the class of 2022 and has received several offers from Kentucky, Alabama, Kansas, and TCU among others.

And making news via social media on Thursday afternoon, Joe Tipton of On3 Recruits announced that Miller will take an official visit to Arizona on Sunday!

As it stands, Arizona Basketball should have a competitive group in 2022-23, but a potential addition of Leonard Miller would be a huge pick-up.

Tommy Lloyd and Arizona have been staying busy the past couple of weeks, and hosting Leonard is a big indication of that!

Heck, just weeks ago, Miller announced his Top 10 destinations for 2022-23, and not listed were the Wildcats. So Lloyd and Arizona have seemingly made up a lot of ground quickly.

Now, it is worth noting that there is no guarantee that Miller even comes here, and it appears there is a real possibility he goes on to play professionally in the G-League next year anyways. Either way, it is great to see the Wildcats go after one of the top remaining prospects.

After all, he comes from good lineage as his brother Emmanuel is a stand-out player at TCU, and just recently, Leonard played in the Nike Hoop Summit hosted in Portland. Leonard finished his evening with 11 points and five rebounds in Team World’s 102-80 loss to Team USA.

Here is a quick scouting report from the NBA Draft Room:

"Miller has been one of the fastest-rising recruits in his class and is someone to keep an eye on for future NBA drafts. He’s a very long, wiry, and mobile 6-10 wing who handles the ball well, has a ton of confidence in his shot, and an overall versatile skill-set. Can drive the ball with either hand is very crafty with the dribble, especially for someone his size. He’s a lefty but can finish with either hand.Doesn’t have a very good-looking jump shot but can hit the 3 and has the makings of a go-to 3-level scorer. Projects as a good outside shooter at the next level and a player who can get his own offense.Miller isn’t a point guard but he’s plenty comfortable bringing the ball up the court and running an offense. His ball skills and versatility project well to the next level."

Here’s just a little preview of the talented forward!
